U-Shape Cups

U-Shape cups are clear, tapered cold cups named for the rounded U profile of the cup wall. Ours are made from PET — a widely recyclable plastic — in 12oz, 16oz, and 24oz, for iced coffee, matcha, chai, smoothies, and juices. Order them blank or custom branded with your own artwork.

The shape went mainstream for a visual reason. With no hard shoulder where the wall meets the base, a drink reads as one continuous column of color — which is the whole point for anything layered or poured to a gradient. We introduced ours after consistent requests from shops we already supply, not because it was trending.

Why PET for a cold cup

PET is what most clear beverage bottles are made from, and it earns its place here: high clarity so color and layering show through, enough rigidity to survive a busy service window and a delivery bag, and no softening under condensation. It's also accepted in most curbside streams as a #1 plastic.

One distinction worth keeping straight — PET is recyclable, not compostable. If you need compostable, that's a PLA cup and a different question about the composting infrastructure your sites can actually reach.

Custom branded U-Shape cups

Most U-Shape cups we produce are custom printed. A clear cup puts your logo on the drink rather than on an opaque background, and the tapered wall means a wrapped design reads from more angles than a straight-sided cup would. Color choices matter more than usual, since whatever sits behind the ink is the drink itself. They're already in service with coffee shops and chai houses in all three sizes.
